Coco Scene! AI, Angie baby, McDreamy... and all that Jazz..

Looking forward to hot.. hot.. Star Dad.. Patrick Dempsey.. aka, McDreamy... Joining us again on Thursday!!! At last! But... we are looking even more foward to Made of Honor (out May 2nd!).. Over an hour of Patrick Dempsey ...

Did you hear about what he did during the writers' strike?

from USA today
During his writers'-strike-induced hiatus from Grey's Anatomy, which returns with new episodes Thursday (ABC, 9 p.m. ET/PT), Patrick Dempsey whisked wife Jill away for a romantic Italian getaway. No kids. No cameras. And no reporters.

The couple, married since 1999, took in a fashion show in Milan; then, in Lake Como, they were among many marveling at the waterfront estate of that city's most famous resident: George Clooney.

He is so dreamy - even unscripted...

On another note... yes ... rumor has it that Angie (baby and all) and Brad are planning a small intimate wedding this summer (Junish - we hear). The ceremony is supposedly non religious... and her father, Jon Voight (who Angie ex-communicated when he implicated that his daughter might be a little nuts..) is said to be walking her down the aisle... we will see... whatever the case... the couple is soo absolutely Louis Viutton Luggage in a third world country... pretentious playing Peace Corps..

Okay, Okay...American Idol does Andrew Lloyd Webber...

No I did not watch it in real time...after what they did to Michael Johns??? No way can deal with Seacrest and the sad choices that America makes... looked it over this morning on YouTube..

An evening of bad song choices... and surprises... this should have been "Theme Park Singer", David Archuleta's night... but it was absolutely Syesha's. Here is how it should have gone...

David Archuleta should have sung "That's all I Ask of You" or "Music of The Night" instead his performance was forgettable.

David Cook should have done Jesus Christ Superstar... whereas Carly should have done "Don't Cry for Me Argentina"...Jason Castro...should have been the one to do an accoustic guitar version of "Think of Me".

And Brooke...Why?! Why! Why didn't you do the song "I Don't Know How to Love Him"?!!! It would have been absolutely perfect for you???

It makes no sense to me... but then neither did casting Michael Johns away...

The night went as it did..Syesha won this round.. no question. I have always thought that Syesha was a bit of the New York school of Fame - ish.. so Broadway should work for her. The loser... David Archuleta.. he should have solidified his lead... at this point ... I think it is anybody's game.

Coco Scene! Sarah Jessica Parker Produces New Reality Show

http://www.thecinemasource.com/moviesdb/images/Sarah_Jessica_Parker%20-%201%20-%20The_Family_Stone.jpg

pr-inside.com:
SEX AND THE CITY star SARAH JESSICA PARKER is set to lend her name to an upcoming reality TV competition for aspiring artists.

Pretty Matches, the actress' production firm, has teamed up with the producers behind hit U.S. reality programmes Top Chef and Project Runway for a series that will see 12 visual artists tackle different disciplines - such as sculpting and painting - for the chance to win a gallery show, cash prize and a sponsored tour around the U.S.
The as-yet-untitled series will feature a panel of the world's top art critics, who will rate the contestants' work.

Just what we needed...another reality show... I guess while the writers are out picketing... we have to watch something. Seems a little too New York to pique our interests...

At least it isn't another story about how Britney is totally losing her mind ... in public.

Coco Scene! Grey's Anatomy ...poor thing!

What we loved:

It was great to see Derek, aka McDreamy, again!

The New Age Healer was fun.

Bailey was awesome.

Love the banter with Dr. Hahn and Dr. Torres. We are beginning to like McSteamy ... as a person - he was funny.

What made us want to say, "Poor thing...":

George, poor thing, is just not such a great guy.

Lay Your Hands On Me

McDreamy, poor thing, seems to have "issues" that makes him so much less ...than. We feel sorry for Rose, his nurse "friend"... it is so hard when your love interest is more attractive than you. Not that any Coco Mommy has ever been in that position.. Poor Rose.

Lexie, poor thing, is no Meredith Grey.

Meredith needs a new love interest to remind Dr. McDreamy she isn't just anybody... poor thing.

In the end... the writer's strike has gotten ridiculous. But, the writing for this season's Grey's Anatomy has been mediocre at best... maybe this break will improve the storylines, and we might actually like Dr. McDreamy again and not just how he looks.

Coco Scene! Parenting at it's finest....

http://www.bglam.com/uploaded_images/normal_02-745223.jpg

Jamie Lynn and Britney....what in the world were they taught at home? Now, neither one is employable. Looks as if Jamie Lynn's show on Nickelodeon "Zoey 101" has been ... hmmm how should be put it???.... permanently retired due to unforeseen circumstances or due to the anticipated arrival of the sixteen year old's love child. How... trailer park. Really...

Toodles!

***PS... Nickelodeon seems to be changing their tune - Now - in their moral wisdom - the program spokesman, Dan Martinsen has now told MTV, "We have not made any change to our schedule." Zoey 101's final season is to air in February.

We wonder if Jamie Lynn will be showing just in time for the show's finale??? We knew there was more than just commercials that kept us from letting our darling children watch the Nickelodeon channel...

CocoScene! Kid Nation - What were they thinking?

http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2007/08/23/arts/kiddspan.jpg

Lord of the Flies is back! Welcome to Kid Nation! CocoScene is after all, celebrity news for moms. I am sure loads of mothers will be watching this gem from CBS!

CBS is taking a beating on this fall reality series about 40 real life children left in a desert ghost town with the job of creating their own society and government.

Apparently, safety was not a factor. Children suffered burns and at least four drank bleach by accident! And it gets better as children as young as 8 were required to clean outhouses, find food and allegedly left unsupervised for days at a time!

But don't worry! CBS (Children's Broadcast Service - don' think so!) had the children's best interest at heart!

In addition, CBS insisted in its statement that the show was "extraordinary" in its "behind-the-scenes support structure." That included "...an animal safety expert and a child psychologist, not to mention a roster of producers assigned to monitor the kids' behavior," the network said.

Well, it's good to know that an "animal safety expert" was on hand as well as the "roster of producers". We wonder what CBS describes as monitoring kids' bleach intake?

But... we admit... our darlings will very likely get to watch a little of this show... after all.. nothing is better than when you sweet children suddenly realize how lucky they are that you are their parent... and not some fame hungry, irresponsible "would be adult" who would sell their children off for their fifteen minutes media spotlight.

We remember from the movie years ago, Parenthood:

"You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog, to drive a car - hell, you even need a license to catch a fish. But they'll let any bu**-reaming a**h*l* be a father. "

We think this can apply to many that call themselves parents....

We know, not every Mom can be Coco....

Those poor darling children!!!

The Starter Wife- or What Desperate Housewives should be...

Have you seen the Starter Wife? It is a wickedly funny mini-summer series on USA network.

Based on the novel from the now separated Gigi Levangie Grazer (soon to be ex of famed producer Brian Grazer) .

This show is sexy, sassy, and oh so coco! Messing is at her best. Season finale on USA tonight, 9/8 central.

We are soooo addicted!

Which Grey's Anatomy Archetype are You?

Here are the character of the Girls in Numerology (we found this at AOL) terms:

<span class=

Frank Ockenfels, ABC

Dr. Meredith Grey

The name Meredith Grey is sensitive, promotes cooperation, and makes everyone feel safe. It promotes adaptablity and survival against all odds. The name indicates understanding, compassion, and intimacy, and tends to draw support with subtle persuassion rather then force. We all know Meredith is a surviver after growing up fatherless, losing her mother to Alzheimer's and her boyfriend to his wife (briefly).

Katherine

Frank Ockenfels, ABC

Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens

Isobel "Izzie" Stevens is a name that reflects intelligence, depth, and a quest for knowledge and information. She has courage, determination, perseverance, and a strong competitive streak. Perhaps this is why Izzie tried so hard to save Denny even though it would compromise her reputation as a doctor. However, she is now determined more than ever to become a great surgeon.

<span class=

ABC

Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd

The name Addison Montgomery-Shepherd enhances a sense of adventure, risk-taking, adaptability, and flexibility. The vowels suggest a strong sense of beauty and a good sense of business. As her name suggests, she's a risk-taker (cheating on her husband) and can adapt to many situations (moving cross country).

<span class=

Frank Ockenfels, ABC

Dr. Miranda Bailey

The vowel vibration in Miranda Bailey has courage, determination, perseverance, and a strong competitive streak. It also offers protection, takes away anxiety and fears, and heals the broken-hearted. The base vibration in this name draws respect and admiration. Quite fitting for a woman who is respected by her interns and fellow doctors. Dr. Bailey knows when to put her foot down and when to be comforting.

Sandra

Frank Ockenfels, ABC

Dr. Cristina Yang

The name Cristina Yang induces a sense of freedom, adventure, risks, gambling and daring acts of courage. There is passion and excitement, often pushing the envelope of what is legal. However, the vowels give the impression of weakness, fear of confrontation and lack of confidence. Cristina crossed the line when shielding Dr. Burke's hand tremors from the others but in the end she is passionate about him and about being a surgeon.

We can comfortably say that the two major archetypes are an Izzie and a Meredith.

Meredith tends to keep her cards closer to her vest while Izzie tends to go into emotional land without a pass back. Because of that factor we feel that we fall into Meredith's camp. True - she does whine and is a little self absorbed... but , which would you want as a BFF?

Heaven help you if you are an Addison - how in the world did she get through medical school with all of the boy distractions? Can you say .."issues"!!!

Miranda is amazing except for one issue we have - the working vs. stay at home mom. On top of that, Miranda types are so giving they are the ones that end up with health issues because they put themselves last.

Cristina, Cristina, Cristina... she does seem to have it together, doesn't she? BUT - She is a hard person to like... soberly.. she would be fun at a party. She was initially dismissed by her now fiancee. Charm and charisma seem to be her weakness, both are essential for success.

So - are you an Izzie or a Meredith?
