Let's see... In TV...

I have to admit, I am a complete addict of certain shows that do not have the passionate components of "most watched" dramedies on TV. I blame my loyalty to Masterpiece (Classic)Theater and Mystery! on my college seriousness... but who wants to discuss the bittersweetness of Cranford?!

We will dive into the blissfully non reality of fab TV...

First up..

Dancing with the Stars:

Congrats Kristi!!!



I didn't ... unlike the rest of America... really care for this season of Dancing with the Stars...the cast to me was a bit lackluster... Priscilla Presley was down right scary to look at .. bless her heart... but

Love Kristi Yamaguchi... she looks better after having 2 kids than she did when she was skating... you cannot help but respect that.


American Idol...

Yes, David C is more talented. Yes, David C has more charisma... especially now that he has dropped a little weight and gotten rid of the comb over look. However...

David C. made some awful song choices! I kept hoping he might try Nickelback (I Wanna Be a Rock Star) but it could have easily been unavailable to him... who knows..

Still - his performance was less than stellar.

David A - did really well with what he has got. Although... he should have reprised Angels at the piano. I think it may have been his best performance overall... when he really connected.



The bottom line is that David A had his game on.

We'll see who wins... what do I know?! I still think Michael Johns is better than both Davids.



Then there is....Grey's Anatomy.. of course!



Derek had sex with Rose... who seems very nice for a definite transitional person.. McDreamy recounts the incident to McSteamy and confides... "I thought about Meredith the whole time".. does that mean we forgive him? At least when Meredith went off the Vet (Chris O'Donnell), Derek was still married and trying to make it work?

Where is the adorable Vet now? Meredith needs a suitor to remind him that it doesn't go both ways..

another note... the whole Isiah Washington thing is "so whatever"... on Grey's they used the fired actor's picture and character's story line ... Dr. Burke found fame and fortune in leaving the hospital... blah..blah..blah.. Now, Washington is filing a grievance... blah blah blah... Shonda came up the character and story lines and it is just petty of him to have a fit...if he had just watched his words... we would have all been better off... now the whole F-bomb has caused 2 seperate unnecessary story lines about homosexuality in Grey's (the dying soldier and Dr. Hahn).

The kiss would have been a bigger deal if it would have involved characters we really care about..

Alex is crazy to take on crazy... no surprise... he likes the whole rescue thing if you remember the issues with Izzie.

Just waiting for Der and Mer reunion...

Coco Scene! The Week In Review....

Wow! What a week for Entertainment... let's review shall we???

Mariah ... now we know why she set her mind to loose all that weight!

She had to get into her wedding dress! Mariah and Nick Cannon wed in the Bahamas.

Congrats!

Britney goes home to Kentwood, LA to celebrate her pregnant underage sister, Jamie Lynn Spears baby shower...

what a joyous occasion...

Now, we have the Tom Cruise on Oprah show... celebrating 25 years..



Okay.. has anyone noticed that he isn't a star material anymore?? Whatever poor Tom had with all his wierdness..scientology... "Cruise Control" of Katie ...etc..

He seems to have lost his star power..that certain something that can carry film..the last time I saw it was Jerry Maguire..

I am not saying he isn't a nice guy but... he just isn't someone I would lust after.



Now Patrick Dempsey on the other hand... has that it quality. He just needs the right vehicle ... Made of Honor was not it.. he was awesome... but the story was worthy of his... hmmm..how should we put it???..magnetism?

Now I have always loved Robert Downey Jr. - even his off the wall roles ...like "Ian" in Wierd Science. But with all of his issues... talent without discipline = disaster...Downey did fumble .. alot. We are glad to see him back with Gwyneth in Iron Man! We will cross our fingers for Robert this time around!



Now, this is a really awesome, fun movie!

Coco Scene! Greys, Movies, TGIF!!

Yes, I watched Grey's Anatomy...What has Kate Walsh done with her hair?! Fire that stylist - that must be same one that chose this hideous red carpet hairstyle... Kate, darling, go back to the red, silky hair.. the dark, goth layers do NOT work.

Truthfully, McDreamy is losing his touch ... although when Meredith and McDreamy shook hands after surgery my heart did skip a beat just a little.. looking forward to Mer-Der reunion on May 22nd.

The whole Dr. Hahn homosexuality is soo whatever... there must be someone for poor "straight" Dr. Torres... pleez

On a happier note... so many movies we are looking forward to this month:

Sex and the City!!! May 30th:



We will be shocked if Carrie and Big actually marry... not just plan the wedding ...but make a real commitment! My guess is the only happily ever after will go to Charlotte...

Coco Scene! Grey's Anatomy is Back!!!

Woo hooo.. reality tv marathon is over!!! Real television is returning...



I could not wait to watch last night's Grey's... Disappointed... didn't like Derek... McSteamy was pretty funny. But the most annoying thing I think was Meredith... did you see how horrible her skin looked? It was completely distracting!!!

Get thee to an esthetologist!!! Get a facial... They do have them in L.A. I've heard...

Although.. Rose's hair thing was rather noticeable.. I hear that Rogaine can do wonders for female baldness fortunately! Bless her rebound girl heart...

On another note... yes ... rumor has it that Angie (baby and all) and Brad are planning a small intimate wedding this summer (Junish - we hear). The ceremony is supposedly non religious... and her father, Jon Voight (who Angie ex-communicated when he implicated that his daughter might be a little nuts..) is said to be walking her down the aisle... we will see... whatever the case... the couple is soo absolutely Louis Viutton Luggage in a third world country... pretentious playing Peace Corps..


Okay, Okay...American Idol does Andrew Lloyd Webber...

No I did not watch it in real time...after what they did to Michael Johns??? No way can deal with Seacrest and the sad choices that America makes... looked it over this morning on YouTube..


An evening of bad song choices... and surprises... this should have been "Theme Park Singer", David Archuleta's night... but it was absolutely Syesha's. Here is how it should have gone...

David Archuleta should have sung "That's all I Ask of You" or "Music of The Night" instead his performance was forgettable.

David Cook should have done Jesus Christ Superstar... whereas Carly should have done "Don't Cry for Me Argentina"...Jason Castro...should have been the one to do an accoustic guitar version of "Think of Me".

And Brooke...Why?! Why! Why didn't you do the song "I Don't Know How to Love Him"?!!! It would have been absolutely perfect for you???

It makes no sense to me... but then neither did casting Michael Johns away...





The night went as it did..Syesha won this round.. no question. I have always thought that Syesha was a bit of the New York school of Fame - ish.. so Broadway should work for her. The loser... David Archuleta.. he should have solidified his lead... at this point ... I think it is anybody's game.

Coco Scene! Grey's Anatomy ...poor thing!

What we loved:



It was great to see Derek, aka McDreamy, again!

The New Age Healer was fun.

Bailey was awesome.

Love the banter with Dr. Hahn and Dr. Torres. We are beginning to like McSteamy ... as a person - he was funny.

What made us want to say, "Poor thing...":

George, poor thing, is just not such a great guy.




McDreamy, poor thing, seems to have "issues" that makes him so much less ...than. We feel sorry for Rose, his nurse "friend"... it is so hard when your love interest is more attractive than you. Not that any Coco Mommy has ever been in that position.. Poor Rose.



Lexie, poor thing, is no Meredith Grey.


Meredith needs a new love interest to remind Dr. McDreamy she isn't just anybody... poor thing.

In the end... the writer's strike has gotten ridiculous. But, the writing for this season's Grey's Anatomy has been mediocre at best... maybe this break will improve the storylines, and we might actually like Dr. McDreamy again and not just how he looks.

Grey's Anatomy - Washington's conspiracy theory

The truth, as Washington sees it, is that he was made the patsy and costar T.R. Knight should have been fired.

Washington claims that the much reported on-set argument between himself and costar Patrick Demsey that supposedly ended with Washington referring to Knight as a "faggot" was nothing more than "a lie."

"I feel all of this was about him getting a raise and getting his character to stop being perceived as a dopey, kooky kind of character," Washington says in an audio clip posted on the newspaper's Website. "He perceives himself as a leading man. That's why you could see the change this past season. That was his whole impetus behind this. And I was used and I was exploited...to raise T.R.'s profile. I may be wrong, but that's how I feel about it."

... Hmmm... honestly..., we have to agree with one point of poor cast-off Isaiah... no matter how many women on Grey's want him, Georgey is just not leading man material....geez we are talking about Georgey for G's sake! Brutally hot McDreamy he is not...Pleez - Georgey on a good day is just McSweet.

Enchanted with Patrick Dempsey

We know, we know... so much to talk about going on in the entertainment world ... but we have been far too ill thanks to impending baby to write a single word..

However, this morning ... We saw the best of both worlds come together in an impending movie!!

A Disney film called Enchanted - with Patrick Dempsey. Yum!

According to Variety, Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has signed a deal to star as the lead in Columbia Pictures’ romantic comedy Made of Honor, being produced by Neal Moritz’s Original film.

A director has not yet been hired for the project. The film is a male-driven romantic comedy about a guy (Patrick Dempsey) whose dream girl asks unexpectedly him to be her maid of honor. In an attempt to win her heart, he agrees.

Made of Honor is based on a speculative script by Adam Sztykiel and was given the green light after a rewrite by Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont.

27 Dresses

Katherine Heigl has had difficulties with love on "Grey's Anatomy," but that's nothing compared to the plight of her character in the upcoming romantic comedy "27 Dresses."

According to Variety, Heigl has signed on to play a woman who has experienced the honor of being a bridesmaid on 27 occasions. Her latest bridesmaid gig is for her sister, who happens to be marrying the man that the bridesmaid loves.

The film, financed by Spyglass, will be directed by "Step Up" helmer Anne Fletcher from a script by Aline Brosh McKenna ("The Devil Wears Prada") with a polish by Dana Fox ("The Wedding Date"). Shooting will begin in May in New York and Rhode Island.

Grey's Anatomy - George is a WEASEL!

Darling, darling George! What a weasel!!! Cheat,... forget,.. remember... liar! What a weasel! No apology, acceptance of responsibility... thank goodness eventually... it will all come out. Of course.. it is after all Grey's Anatomy... everything comes out... even their cast!

So - other than weaselly George we have, our Adonis being his usual charming, perfect... we "want to bottle him" self... ahhh Derek we are completely enthralled with your character - it doesn't hurt that you are some kind of gorgeous too! We can focus on little else than his amazing eyes when he is tearing up in a scene... he is just tooo hot!

We think Alex just needs to get weaselly George and teach him a few things about being a real man (at least on the show!). Whatever happened to sweet, wonderful, loyal George? We really miss liking his character.

No Shock to our system...He is the reason no "mom events" are ever successful on Thursdays.. McDreamy is the stuff that our dreams are made of.. the man is so way better in his 40's.

Sad to scorching hot... Dempsey was a late bloomer... but what a man... what a sexy man..

So, if you watched it as it Tivo'd as we did - you know... if not... we won't spoil it. OMG - it was bound to happen... but now we kind of wished it was Alex. Poor, wicked rich, Callie. Lucky, as in "damn Lucky" Meredith. Enough said. Can't wait until March 29th. Ahhh we love Grey's Anatomy - dispite all of the drama off camera... McDreamy was amazing as always...

Grey's Anatomy - Double, double, toil and trouble...

Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) supposed Grey's spinoff is touching off a new round of venom on the set of Grey's Anatomy. Plez, we watch it for Derek.. not Addison, not Mark, not Meredith.. Derek Shepherd.


Get it? Derek is Fab - we used to think George was too... If Kyle Chandler were still on the show, we would probably tune in for him, too! The other girls lend an interest but not Tivo deserving..
With all the tantrums going on with the cast about Addison leaving and going out on her own.. We say.. just wait.. Addison will likely be leaving to find failure. Addison is lovely but far from Fabulous.

As for the Izzie "I want a raise because I am worth more" Stevens issue.. darling, you look great in Escada but don't take it too far - with a fashion faux pas like this, your stock will plummet! Don't become the token voluptuous blond...reign in the ego.

Small Sacrifices - Grey's Anatomy

Of course we Tivo'd it. Of course we watched it as it Tivo'd.

Grey's Anatomy... last week McDreamy gave us something to fantasize about when he carried Meredith Grey out of the water. Was he incredibly hot or what?! We thought looked like a front cover of romance novel. His devotion to dear Mer.. his grief.. geez could any S-O ever live up to him?!


Today, he was a wreck... in a good way. The way we know our S-O's should be if anything happened to us!

If Mer had passed on to the great hospital in the sky, we would have to pass on Grey's Anatomy's future. But the good thing about her stop en route .. Kyle Chandler popped in.. sigh..


But... with all this drama.. a sacrifice had to be made. So, Mer's mom, Ellis Grey is off to the Great Beyond - not a nice person - okay, bye bye.



George is starting to annoy us a bit. He is not as adorable. We hope his recent trip outside of the closet isn't changing how his character is being written.

Now, McDreamy - Geez- when he was in the hospital bed holding Mer.. all we could think is "she is not worthy"...

BUT - the big news with Grey's Anatomy is talk of a spin off with Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd. Addy (Kate Walsh) is very pretty.. but the charisma thing isn't really happening with her. We will have to see what they put out... if it can compare.


Addy deserves some happiness, but it is hard to imagine her holding her own show together. Now... if it was Izzie.. that could get interesting!
