Britney goes home to Kentwood, LA to celebrate her pregnant underage sister, Jamie Lynn Spears baby shower...

what a joyous occasion...

Now, we have the Tom Cruise on Oprah show... celebrating 25 years..



Okay.. has anyone noticed that he isn't a star material anymore?? Whatever poor Tom had with all his wierdness..scientology... "Cruise Control" of Katie ...etc..

He seems to have lost his star power..that certain something that can carry film..the last time I saw it was Jerry Maguire..

I am not saying he isn't a nice guy but... he just isn't someone I would lust after.



Now Patrick Dempsey on the other hand... has that it quality. He just needs the right vehicle ... Made of Honor was not it.. he was awesome... but the story was worthy of his... hmmm..how should we put it???..magnetism?

Now I have always loved Robert Downey Jr. - even his off the wall roles ...like "Ian" in Wierd Science. But with all of his issues... talent without discipline = disaster...Downey did fumble .. alot. We are glad to see him back with Gwyneth in Iron Man! We will cross our fingers for Robert this time around!



Now, this is a really awesome, fun movie!

Coco Scene! Celebrity rehabs and such..Kirsten and Delta check in... Britney checks out!

Hollywood actress KIRSTEN DUNST has become the latest star to reportedly check into rehab - joining the same Utah medical facility as EVA MENDES.
According to U.S. magazine Star, the 25-year-old was admitted to Cirque Lodge after a week of wild partying at last month's (Jan08) Sundance Film Festival.
The facility is also the same centre where Lindsay Lohan spent last summer (07) for substance abuse problems.
A source tells Star, "She (Dunst) desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears.
"She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs." Dunst recently dismissed rumours she was on the verge of a breakdown after reports surfaced of her alleged "erratic" behaviour at Sundance, with sources claiming her "odd" antics left friends apologising to other partygoers. But representatives for the Spider-Man star denied the reports insisting, "Kirsten is fine."

That makes two this week that we have heard of....

First:

TMZ has learned "Designing Women" star Delta Burke checked herself into a psychiatric hospital last week for depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and "hoarding."

We truly hope poor Delta comes out... well... put together again.

Now Dear Kirsten... who in Hollywood is next...

Funny thing is... sweet Kirsten checks in ... bless her heart.. and Britney, poor thing, checks out...

The following statement was released to CNN's Anderson Cooper by Jamie and Lynne Spears, Britney's parents:

"As parents of an adult child in the throws (sic) of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

What a rehab, psyched out month.. and we are only half way through... maybe it has something to do with the writers strike? Is this what happens when actors do not have any writers to give them character?...hmmm...

Coco Scene! Rehab/psyche ward round up and a few more tidbits...

So, Britney is back at the hospital again... this time confined to the Psyche ward. Any surprise that it looks like a complete break down? At least this time it looks as if her parents are finally stepping up and taking charge. Daddy has the reins on her money and care... after all dear Brit clearly had no control even when she was in charge...

Her parents are not exactly June and Ward Cleaver... but ... they are finally doing something... poor Brit...

Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers voluntarily checked himself into UCLA Medical Center earlier this week to be treated for severe exhaustion, the actor's rep confirmed.

The 37-year-old father of five went to the hospital "to get help with a pre-existing sleeping disorder," his rep said. "He asks that the press respect his privacy and that of his family at this time."

Chambers entered the hospital Monday and left Wednesday, missing UCLA's newest patient, Britney Spears by just a few hours.

But while that latter case is a whole other story, Chambers apparently was feeling flush enough to spend time with his buddies upon his release, according to a source who saw Dr. Alex Karev at trendy Los Feliz bistro La Poubelle later that evening.

"He was there around midnight, drinking with a couple of friends. He looked upset, but not in a breakdown type of way," the witness told E! News, adding that the former model is a fixture on the hipster scene in that neighborhood, but usually with his wife, Keisha, and kids in tow.

"They are the cutest family," E! was told. "He seems like a decent guy."

We are of course wishing him best of luck. 5 kids... a break down might be understandable!

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — Hollywood actress Eva Mendes has entered a rehabilitation center to tackle substance-abuse problems, celebrity magazine People reported on its website Friday.

The 33-year-old star of "Hitch" and "We Own the Night," has been undergoing treatment at Utah's Cirque Lodge center for several weeks, the report said.

"Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support," a representative for Mendes told People. "Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

Cirque Lodge was in the headlines last year after actress Lindsay Lohan checked into the facility following dual arrests for drink-driving.

LATEST: Eighties teen hearthrobs NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK are reportedly recording a new album in secret.
Singer Danny Woods recently attempted to shoot down increasing rumours the boyband is planning to reunite, insisting there had been "no discussion" of a comeback.

PARIS HILTON is set for a racy new TV role as a member of the cast of lesbian series THE L WORD.
The socialite-turned-actress has revealed she's in talks to guest on the acclaimed U.S. cable tv show - and her spot may lead to a more regular part.
Hilton admits she's thrilled about the prospect of appearing on the programme but she has no idea whether she'll have to play gay or bare all in the steamy series.
She tells Parade.com, "It's true. I have no idea what kind of character I'll be playing, but it's a good show."

This really shows us the effect jail time has had on dear Paris...oh well.. it makes for interesting tv.

It is no surprise that TV today is less than tantalizing thanks to the Writers' Guild strike. We wish we could say we sympathize more with them... with all of their separate deals and the whole Jimmy Hoffa-ness of it all... and now with no Golden Globes...what will we do for red carpet fashion directives?!! Let us just say.. a free agent situation would be greatly appreciated. Even though the writers have carved an agreement with David Lettermen... we find Jay Leno to be more entertaining and deserving of our respect.

In the end, it is simply this... there is one episode left of Grey's Anatomy.. and we have not been very impressed with this season's plot lines...perhaps a flock of new non union writers might be refreshing.


Now for the Battles of Britney... It never ceases to amaze us.. how absolutely awful Lynne Spears is as a parent. Britney's parental units were planning to assure ratings for Dr. Phil's talk show and appear on an upcoming episode to discuss their "dirty laundry". Dr. Phil even showed up at Cedars-Sinai Medical center as Britney was checking out....per her family's request. Now the Spears family is pointing fingers to everyone including Dr. Phil for the train wreck known as the PR from Britney's breakdown... too bad they can't add themselves to the equation. Britney, poor thing, seems to have been raised by dignity challenged parents.

By the way, just a note... we watched, "Cashmere Mafia"... designer clothes, girlfriends, Lucy Lui - sounded like our kind of show. Until they portrayed a Coco Mommy as well... the enemy. Let us just say... in this situation... a writer's strike is the best thing that could happen to this show. We certainly won't be watching it...



OOOh! One more note: Congrats to the newest Hottie Mommy to be Nicole Kidman! The preganacy is confirmed with a rumored arrival date sometime in July.
We do love her. We hope that she and hubbie Keith Urban have a healthy pregnancy and child!

We have to add one of the comments George Clooney made when he was asked about Nic's baby news: "At least she is older than 16."

Coco Scene! Britney Bombs

As we watched dear Britney's ill fated Video Music Awards (MTV) opening act of "Gimme More", we felt plain sorry for the poor Mommy of 2 mistakes. Between her wig and her less than bikini ready body... we thought... "geez, her performance was like a really bad American Idol audition in the first round!"

Our opinion, which we will of course give whether you like it or not...
Britbrit needs to focus on becoming a real person instead of creating a "purpose in life to serve as a warning to others" (despair.com)

Maybe a ballad with more clothing... maybe she is just destined to never be Coco...
Poor thing.

D-I-V-O-R-C-E surprise for Britney and K-Fed

The couple, who married in September 2004 before Britney filed for divorce last November, agreed the deal during a five-hour meeting in Los Angeles yesterday (29.03.07).
Kevin is rumoured to be receiving a $1 million payment, with the couple sharing custody of their two sons, 18-month-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, six months.
A spokesman for Kevin's attorney said: "The parties signed a global agreement on all issues of their marriage and custody of their children." He refused to elaborate on the terms of the settlement, but revealed they had reached an agreement on financial matters.
A judge must approve the agreement before the divorce is finalised.
During the meeting, Kevin, 29, took a cigarette break and Britney, 25, followed him outside where they spent 15 minutes talking.
The meeting took place in Britney's attorney Laura Wasser's office in California's Century City.
The estranged couple agreed to temporarily share custody of their sons in January, but Kevin took over custody when Britney checked into Malibu's Promises Rehab centre in February.


Who in the world would have guessed that K-Fed would turn out to be a nice guy?!!!

We kept awaiting word that Britney would be crucified in the divorce for being the poster child for birth control....but ... K-Fed turned out to be really decent... or at least appears to be.. we give snaps to the young ex-couple for making better choices than say... the soon to be ex-McCartney.

Now with self proclaimed "charity activist" (we still cannot figure what she actually does for a salary!) Mills..... there is a poster child for the iron clad prenup!

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has chastised Lynne Spears for not speaking out in defence of her troubled daughter Britney Spears.

Spears recently left the Promises rehabilitation center in California after completing a 30-day program to fight substance abuse.
But Dina Lohan believes the TOXIC singer's mother should have stood up for her daughter earlier against the scathing media reports criticising Spears' downward spiral into rehab.
She says, "I don't know her mom. But I love this kid, and I feel so badly for her because I'm amom. The girl is a beautiful kid. She married some guy just to get out of the limelight. Cut her some slack.

"Her mother, I'm surprised she didn't come forward. I'm not gonna sit back and go, 'You're gonna trash my kid?' If my daughter was in high school, I would be at the principal's office. Hello?"

Darling Dina... why defend your child when the right answer is to protect your darling in the firs place? Dina Lohan is the worst example of the kind of mother that we respect. The party calls to Dina not motherhood. Perhaps ... dear Dina is simply under the delusion that a family that "parties" together stays together?

Britney Spears Shaves Head for Drug Test?

No we could not bear to have the horrid pics of Brit sans hair on our page! Everyone has seen it..all we can say - those poor little boys!

Brit is not usually a topic for us.. But we had heard an interesting tidbit - complete Gossip- of course!

Supposedly, K-Fedex had threatened to have Brit drug tested using hair follicles (which can go back ages! Depending on length of hair.) in their custody battle. The shaved head was her reply to his threat.

Now, Brit is no kind (whatsoever) of Coco Anything. But, if that was her reasoning for that beastly cut - it is at the very least understandable. We wish her only the best of luck sorting out her life. We also hope she will soon loose her role as favorite circus sideshow!

Poor thing.
