Hugh Grant Arrested

Sooo, once again Hugh is having a bit of trouble with the law. This time it is not for prostitution, this time it is simply for being a jerk.

According to TMZ:
The actor, according to British press reports, allegedly kicked Ian Whittaker three times as Whittaker attempted to photograph him near his west London home. Whittaker alleges Grant then picked up a large carton of baked beans and threw them at the lensman, leaving him "bruised" and "battered" and slathered in the sticky mess.

Whittaker also claims that Grant asked him whether he had kids, and when he answered in the affirmative, said, "I hope they die of f**king cancer." Grant denies having said that.

Police did not confirm that it was Grant, 46, that had been arrested, but did say that a 46-year-old man had been arrested and made bail, and that he would be returning to a police station next month.


There are no excuses for that kind of behavior. We always thought darling Hugh was simply adorable... now we just think his cuteness is quickly wearing off...

Hugh Grant, Sandra Bullock, and Drew Barrymore could have Hepatitis A

Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore may have contracted the illness after attending a US post-premiere party for 'Music and Lyrics' on February 7.
The event was catered for by Wolfgang Puck's company, and it has been now been revealed one of the cooks had Hepatitis A.
A letter was sent to guests warning them of a "public health issue" and saying they may be at risk of infection if they had eaten uncooked food.
Guests at risk were advised to get a gamma globulin shot within 14 days of exposure - before February 21. However, the letter wasn't sent out until March 1.
Sponsors of the party claim the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health did not inform them of the problem until February 28th.
The letter read: "The Department of Health has reassured the hosts on how very low the risk of infection is." Hosts of the 'Music and Lyrics' party insist no one who attended contracted Hepatitis A.
Wolfgang Puck's catering company also catered for a Sports Illustrated bash which was at the centre of a Hepatitis scare.
Beyoncé Knowles was one of the guests at risk of infection, but was given the all clear.

Geez... usually it is just the normal things, people you don't want to see, too much paparazzi, but Hepatitis A? Talk about a bad party!

Grantless Hurley-Nayer Nuptials

She looked lovely.

By the way, she married Arun Nayer... now for the hearsay...

US Weekly is reporting that dear Liz ( now,Nayer - taking her husband's surname - isn't that so vintage - we love it!) made a call to ex-Hugh Grant the day before her nuptials, dying for him to attend the UK blessing on Saturday at Sudeley castle.

“Liz called him the day before begging him to come, but he insisted it would not feel right. He didn’t want to detract any attention from her big day.” According to US Weekly's source.

When Grant was asked at his home in London on the day of the blessing (Saturday March 3), he reportedly responded with a “no comment.”.

Do we think this happened? Perhaps, it did. But we think that Dear Liz was feeling a little emotional about the whole thing. She probably wanted to personally extend the invite to her ex and old friend. When everything went down with her son, "love child" with Steven Bing, it was darling Hugh who was there for her. We think they are very likely friends with the mist of "what if" when sentiments run high.

Hugh Grant is single yet again. Jemima Khan and he said their goodbyes.

He is also totally adorable. Which translates into he won't be free for long.


We rather think he is a bit like Charles in Four Weddings and Funeral, when we first noticed him. Doomed to a life of "serial monogamy". Poor dear.
